Salted Caramel Affogato

Ingredients:
Salted Caramel Affogato
1-2 scoops Humbold Super Premium Vanilla ice cream
¼ cup double espresso, coffee, or cold brew coffee
2 tablespoons prepared salted caramel sauce
1 tablespoon chopped dark chocolate, almonds, or hazelnuts
Pinch of sea salt
Salted Caramel Sauce
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon vanilla
Directions:
Prepare the caramel sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add sugar and cream, stir constantly, just until mixture begins to bubble slightly (about 3 minutes). Remove from heat, whisk in sea salt and vanilla. Allow to cool sightly before transferring to an airtight container. Keeps in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Assemble the affogato:
Place ice cream in a medium mug. Top with espresso, caramel, and chocolate. Sprinke with a pinch of sea salt. Serve and enjoy!
