Turmeric Chai Latte

This cozy latte uses fresh turmeric and warming chai to make a healthy winter drink.

1 cup organic Humboldt Creamery whole milk
1 inch fresh turmeric, chopped into small pieces (or 1/2 tsp ground turmeric)
1 chai tea teabag (or 1 tbs loose chai tea)
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp maple syrup or honey (to taste)


1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and set over medium-low heat.
2. Bring mixture to a low simmer for 3 minutes.
3. Remove tea bag and large turmeric pieces. Whisk mixture vigorously over heat until it begins to foam.
4. Remove from heat and strain through a fine mesh strainer into your favorite mug.
